Why refer

Fewer missed doses. Same duty of care.

  • No new workflow

Write the script as you normally would. Your patient uploads or forwards the eScript via the Cannter app.

  • Better adherence

Delivery reduces missed repeats. Patients are more likely to stay on therapy when friction is removed.

  • Same-day Perth metro

Patients get scripts filled and delivered the same day they request. Order by 2pm for same-day delivery.

  • Compliance, handled

Schedule 8 medication uses verified chain-of-custody delivery. Your duty of care for safe medication supply is upheld.

  • You stay in control

We don't substitute brands, interpret, or advise. The pharmacy dispenses to your script. Full stop.

  • Partnered, not disintermediated

Cannter works through existing pharmacy relationships — we're not trying to replace them, we're supporting them.

Common questions

Prescriber FAQs.

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.

  • No. Write the script as you normally would — paper or eScript. Your patient forwards it through the Cannter app, which routes to a partner pharmacy for dispensing.

  • The partner pharmacy dispenses to your script without substitution. Cannter adds verified chain-of-custody delivery — photo ID at handover, tamper-evident packaging, signed receipt, audit trail — so the medication reaches the intended patient.

  • Yes. Request an info pack from us and we'll provide referral cards you can hand patients in your practice. We'll also set up a short direct line for urgent referrals if helpful.

  • No. We route, deliver, and verify — never advise. Any clinical question is routed to the dispensing pharmacist or referred back to you.

  • Currently Perth metro only (7 zones). Regional expansion is on the roadmap — happy to flag when we reach your area.

What we won’t do

  • Interpret or alter your prescriptions
  • Substitute brands without authorisation
  • Provide clinical advice to your patients
  • Come between you and your pharmacy
